Description of role

Responsible for protecting the exchange and it’s participants against internal and external risks

Core skills

Knowledge of financial markets, assets and liability management technique and the risks to the exchange
Knowledge of different types of crisis situations and the exchange’s ability to respond to them in order to continue business operations
Knowledge of all techniques in the assets and liability management of an institution
Knowledge of how the exchange protects its information and its clients information against internal and external attacks
Ability to assess the optimal investments for developing a security infrastructure that reduces the exchange’s vulnerability to security breaches
Ability to manage an effective risk management system that maximises value from financial, strategic and market risks
Ability to evaluate financial transactions of the exchange that can impact its financial position
Ability to maintain systems and processes that provide management team with information necessary to make decisions, and suggest ways to improve them
