Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Program

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is the statutory title of qualified accountants who have passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination and have met additional state education and experience requirements for certification as a CPA. Licensing of CPAs helps to protect the public interest because only those individuals who have met prescribed requirements are permitted to identify themselves to the public as CPAs. One component of the licensing requirement designed to ensure only qualified individuals become licensed as CPAs is the Uniform CPA Examination. CPAs are typically multi-talented professionals who perform a mix of highly-specialised job functions including Auditing, Business and Management Consulting, Information Technology (IT), International Financial Reporting and Tax Advisory Services, to name a few. Almost every business encounters a financial situation at some point or another where it could benefit from the services of a CPA. CPA helps individual to operate in many areas of finance such as: Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting, Financial Planning, Income Tax etc. CPA consists of four program content, such as:

  • Auditing and Attestation (AUD)
  • Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR).
  • Regulation (REG)
  • Business Environment and Concepts (BEC)
