CFA LII - Chartered Financial Analyst
The Level II exam is designed to test how you analyse and evaluate investment tools, techniques and asset valuation in realistic scenarios.Format: Item-set (vignette) style questions. Each vignette presents a case/situation, followed by multiple-choice questions. Structure: 88 questions (22 item sets) over two sessions: each session 2h 12m (132 minutes) making a total of 4h 24m of test time. *Preparation: Candidates often report ~300 hours of study for this level.Level II is offered three times a year: typically in May, August and November.Note: The exam is delivered in computer‐based format

Course Prerequisite
1. Educational or Professional Requirement
To register for the CFA Level II exam, you must have already met one of the following criteria when you registered for Level I: Completed a bachelor’s (undergraduate) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.OR Be in the final year of your bachelor’s degree program (you must have completed your degree before sitting for Level II).OR Have a combination of 4,000 hours of work experience and/or higher education (not required to be investment-related), acquired over a minimum of 3 consecutive years. ⚠️ You cannot register for Level II unless you have passed Level I and met these base eligibility requirements.
2. Level I Completion
You must have: Passed the CFA Level I Exam (most candidates take Level II the following year). Your CFA Institute account must reflect your Level I “Pass” status before you can enroll in Level II.
