Course Prerequisite
The SHRM-SCP certification is intended for professionals with a minimum of three years of experience in strategic-level HR or HR-related roles, or for SHRM-CP holders with at least three years of credentialed experience who are currently working in, or transitioning to, strategic HR positions.Applicants are not required to hold an HR job title or an academic degree. Eligibility requires demonstrating at least 1,000 hours per calendar year of strategic-level HR work. The certification assesses advanced HR competencies related to policy development, enterprise-level HR leadership, and alignment of HR strategy with organizational objectives.
