    Description of role

    Responsible for the collection, review and analyses of regulatory, deposit, credit, security, organisational structure and cross border data submitted to the regulator from domestic and foreign institutions.

    Core technical skills

    • Ability to understand and analyse data on a micro and macro level to identify trends and inconsistencies
    • Ability to analyse aggregate data and prepare well thought-out and detailed analyses of underlying trends
    • Work with respondents to resolve reporting issues and ensure the accuracy of reports
    • Ensure availability of relevant statistical data for external parties including domestic financial institutions, the IMF, and other international financial institutions as required
    • Knowledge of the workflow and output reports to data users
    • Ability to research and respond to inquiries from respondents
      • Ability to design relevant worksheets, tables, and charts for the effective communication of compiled statistical information
    • Knowledge of IMF’s standardised Return Forms and the latest IMF and other international methodologies
