The Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) qualification is administered by the CFA Institute in the USA and is promoted as the industry standard for professionals working in the financial services industry.

This program is designed to help candidates understand every learning outcome statement included in the CFA® curriculum so that you get the maximum marks. Regular assessments and evaluations at every phase of study ensures candidates practice sufficient exam style questions and stay up to speed. Exam Eligibility:

To register for the CFA® exam, you need to either hold a bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) or be in the second year of your bachelor's degree program. If you don't meet this academic requirement, your professional work experience can also be considered towards eligibility. The simplest way to determine your eligibility for the CFA® exam is to provide us with information about your degree and work experience.

Meet one of the following entrance requirements:

  • Have a bachelor's (or equivalent)
  • Or be in the 3rd year of the bachelor's degree program at the time of registration to sit for Level I Exam (Candidate must complete his degree program prior to the date of sitting your Level II exam).
  • Or have four years of professional work experience (does not have to be investment related)
  • Or have a combination of professional work and college experience that totals at least four years. Part-time positions do not qualify, and the four-year total must be accrued prior to enrollment.

What's Involved in the Exam?

The CFA® exam consists of three levels that must be completed sequentially. Candidates may sit for only one examination each year:

  • Level I: Focuses on fundamental knowledge of investment tools with some analysis.
  • Level II: Places a stronger emphasis on analysis and the practical application of investment tools and concepts.
  • Level III: Focuses on effective portfolio management using evaluation tools and analytical methods.

Testing Windows:

  • Level I: Four testing windows per year in February, May, August, and November.
  • Level II: Three testing windows per year in February, August, and November.
  • Level III: Two testing windows per year in May and August.

What topics are on the CFA Exam Level I?

The CFA® Program curriculum for the Level I exam is focused on the knowledge and comprehension of investment tools and asset classes, as well as portfolio management and ethical and professional standards. The exam covers the 10 topic areas noted in the chart below. Questions on the exam are grouped into the functional areas shown in the chart and the items are randomized.
