Program Overview
In its second edition, the program is intended to target upto 15 national participants and to be delivered in-person, in Arabic, and in partnership with the Association for Talent Development (ATD). ATD is an international leader based in the USA and specialized in empowering and cultivating trainers. With over 80 years of experience, ATD have successfully trained over 180,000 Learners.
Structure
The program will be delivered in-person. It includes a general TOT certification course complemented with mentoring and shadowing opportunities by seasoned trainers, when needed. Each candidate will be advised to select a subject-specific pathway to enhance their confidence in running future courses independently within their area of expertise.
About the general TOT course with ATD
This part of the program is a customized version of ATD’s premium train-the-train course “Training & Facilitation Certificate”. This training certificate course covers the entire end-to-end training cycle, including planning and preparing a training event, managing the learning environment and engaging participants in the classroom, and following up post-event to continue to support learning. We'll cover the science behind learning as well—why and how learner needs and preferences, training techniques, classroom environment, and well-structured materials all affect learning outcomes. At the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your techniques in a skills training practice where you will receive feedback and guidance from peers and an ATD expert Facilitator. The program is derived from ATD research and backed by a model, best practices, and content with real-world applicability for optimal learning transfer to drive bottom-line results.
About the Subject-Specific Pathways
Following completion of the general TOT course facilitated by ATD, each candidate will be advised to choose a subject-specific pathway where they can receive mentorship, shadowing opportunities and practical training experience by experienced trainers in one or more of the following areas of expertise:
