A Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) is a professional certification available to fraud examiners. . CFEs are subject to periodic continuing professional education requirements (CPE) in the same manner as CPAs. The CFE designation is issued by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

The Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential is the gold standard of professional excellence in the anti-fraud industry. It is awarded by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (AFCE) and is designed to train industry professionals in preventing, detecting and investigating fraud. This course is designed to prepare professionals for the CFE exam that is administered all year round by the AFCE.

Requirements

  1. Must have a certified university degree (or equivalent), from an accredited College.
  2. Must have at least two-year experience on law fields and fraud detection and auditing field.
  3. Submit a membership application for a certificate of CFE Expert.
  4. Submit all documents related to joining the Exam.
