About “Tawjeeh”:

The Certified Career Counselor Program "Tawjeeh" is an initiative launched by the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau in an academic partnership with Qatar Finance and Business Academy. The program specializes on instructing career counselors and equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to provide counseling services that assist individuals advance in their careers.

Program Objectives:

  • Developing a program that allows participants to obtain an international professional certification in the field of Career counseling.
  • Creating opportunities for employment within the domain of Career counseling .
  • Securing qualified vocational counselors who possess the ability to assist individuals in formulating educational and Career counseling service plans and goals that align with their aspirations and current labor market trends.
  • Facilitating efforts to enhance the competencies and competitiveness of human resources in Qatar.

Target audience:

  • Career counseling service providers from the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau and the Ministry of Labor working within the National Employment Platform “Kawader”.
  • University graduates seeking employment in the field of career counseling.
  • Career that specialize in talent acquisition.
  • Career service providers and career counselors in government entities.
  • Career and academic counselors in schools and universities.

Program structure:

  • For the first time, the Certified Career Counselor Program is delivered in Arabic, aimed at workers of all levels, featuring examples and experiences that are relevant to the reality of local career consoling and the numerous issues that this sector faces.
  • The program is structured into 10 modules that cover a variety of theoretical and practical aspects for a total of 120 training hours.
  • To apply for the Career Service Provider certification, participants must complete at least ten core training modules as well as any specific requirements.
  • The training program comprises instruction and supervision until you receive an accreditation certificate from the National Career Development Association (NCDA).

International Accreditation and Certificates

The program enables participants to earn international accreditation in the field of career counselling and development, by obtaining certifications such as:

  • The Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) Certification
  • Certified Career Counselor Provider (CCSP) credential.
