Program Overview
The program aims to introduce students to the different careers in finance and the financial sector in Qatar by conducting theoretical and interactive workshops on-campus and by visiting a selection of professional organizations in the financial sector.
In addition to gaining knowledge and experiential learning, the program provides students with the following benefits:
- A certificate of participation indicating that it was equivalent to 20 hours of volunteering upon the completion of the program
- Broaden students’ knowledge about the financial sector and its diverse career opportunities
- Assist students in choosing their university major that suit their interests and capabilities
- Build students’ CV through volunteering and gaining knowledge
Program Structure
The program is delivered over one week from 13th to 17th of August, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. as per the following schedule:
- Day 1: QFBA
- Day 2: Site visit to Qatar National Bank and Masrf Al Rayan (Two groups)
- Day 3: Site visit to Qatar National Bank (Two groups)
- Day 4: Site visit to Qatar Stock Exchange
- Day 5: Site visit to Qatar Central Bank
