    Description of role

    Responsible for preparing reports that provide accurate and timely financial and statistical information required by bank’s management in decision making.

    Core skills

    • Knowledge of IFRS and local jurisdiction requirements
    • Knowledge and understanding of the effective control of costs
    • Knowledge of the legal and contractual constraints and the effect of time and quality on cost
    • Knowledge to the management of costs
    • Knowledge of analytical and financial modelling skills
    • Ability to recommend strategies and procedures to control predicted expenditure in-line with the budget
    • Ability to build spreadsheet models

    Qualification and/ or certification

    • QFSQF Level 3
    • CPA / CMA / ACCA or equivalent qualifications would be useful
    • Relevant experience

    • Knowledge of Islamic banking industry and business
    • Understand local market trends

    • Knowledge of Islamic banking regulatory framework
