Description of role

Responsible for conducting analysis on global and regional companies, and key factors which would affect the market, and providing clients with industry-specific and in-depth research and analysis on diversified industries.

Core skills

Possess knowledge of features and characteristics of asset management products and investment concepts suitable for asset management clients
Knowledge of the different types and uses of research and reports (e.g. fundamental, technical, fund analysis, broker and distributor and sector-specific reports
Ability to identify sources of market data and guidelines and evaluate the accuracy, currency, relevance and reliability of market data
Ability to analyse market data correctly to draw meaningful information
Ability to analyse key information gathered from credible sources and develop financial models and up to date investment reports
Ability to assess key factors that influence markets and sectors such as responses to changes and uncertainty, volume, liquidity, and nature of trading activity in domestic and overseas markets etc.
