    Description of role

    Responsible for monitoring credit risk and production of comprehensive, timely, accurate and well-formatted reports which are used by the bank’s senior management to monitor overall credit risk exposure of the bank.

    Core skills

    • Ability to develop and implement credit risk monitoring and reporting framework
    • Knowledge of credit grading and credit rating and scoring models
    • Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative factors impacting the ability of borrowers to repay
    • Understand different types of default correlation and methods of aggregating credit risks
    • Understanding of credit impairment and the related accounting techniques and policies
    • Ability to perform analysis of credit history, cash flow, profitability and other financial reports
    • Ability to determine loss potential, delinquency and doubtful provisions
    • Knowledge of variety of tools to take prompt actions before delinquency
    • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills

    Qualification and/ or certification

    • QFSQF Level 3
    • FRM / PRM or equivalent qualifications would be useful
    • Relevant experience
