    Description of role

    Responsible for providing financial advice to clients such as trends, preferences, expectations, and developing investment strategies suitable to clients’ aims and objectives based on portfolio review and monitoring asset level performance

    Core skills

    • Ability to apply a range of essential information and factors to form the basis of appropriate financial planning and advice for clients e.g. financial needs, preferences, expectations, income and lifestyle – current and anticipated
    • Ability to analyse and propose strategies suitable for the client’s aims and objectives
    • Ability to collaborate with research analysts for investment recommendations to ensure portfolio feasibility and profitability
    • Ability to analyse and propose investments suitable for the proposed portfolio strategy
    • Ability to review portfolio and monitor asset level performance, including asset manager audits on asset performance and reporting capabilities, reviewing cash flow projections and financial reports to ensure portfolio feasibility and profitability

    Qualification and/ or certification

    • QFSQF Level 3
    • Professional certification desirable (e.g. CFA, FINRA Series 7)
    • Relevant experience

    • Knowledge of capital markets products and investment concepts
    • Ability to identify trends and developments in capital markets
