    Description of role

    Responsible for day-to-day AML / CTF compliance regulations, maintain, update, and where appropriate establish AML policies and procedures and assessment techniques for the insurance company.

    Core skills

    • Knowledge of designing and implementing a risk assessment frameworks
    • Knowledge of based methodology and Financial Action Task Force (FATF) recommendations and sanctions regimes.
    • Ability to develop and implement KYC monitoring tools.
    • Understanding of suspicious transaction monitoring, suspicious transaction reporting (STR) and processes for investigations
    • Understanding of Political Exposed Persons (PEPs)
    • Ability to develop and maintain policies and procedures in relation to AML / CTF.
    • Knowledge of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes, tools and systems
    • Understanding of sanctions strategies and processes

    Qualification and/ or certification

    • QFSQF Level 3
    • ACAMS or equivalent qualification
    • Relevant experience

    • Knowledge of insurance and products

    • Knowledge of Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
    • Knowledge of Qatari and international AML / CTF requirements.
