Description of role

Responsible for providing the issuer of the security with a range of advice relating to the issue, including planning and critically reviewing a company’s business plan, management team, financial performance, growth prospects, fund raising and financial controls. Ensuring the accuracy, truthfulness and completeness of a company’s prospectus by conducting due diligence and providing post placement assistance.

Core skills

Knowledge of different types of financial products admitted onto the exchange
Knowledge of valuation methodologies, tools and techniques
Understanding of IPO process including price fixation
Understanding listing compliance obligations of different parties to the IPO and listing
Knowledge of regulations and rules surrounding the admission of a new secu

Qualification and/ or certification

QFSQF Level 3
Relevant experience

Industry knowledge

Knowledge of QFMA and Qatar Exchanges listing rules and process

Regulatory compliance of role

Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, rules and codes of conduct
